Annie Leibovitz is an American photographer whose distinctive portraits have shaped contemporary editorial and cultural photography. She began publishing in Rolling Stone in 1970 and became the magazine’s chief photographer in 1973, building a body of work that blended portraiture with photojournalism. Her later work expanded across magazines, books, commissions and museum exhibitions, creating widely recognised images of artists, public figures and historical moments. Leibovitz lives and works in New York and is represented by Hauser & Wirth.

Jimmy Chin is an Asian American professional mountain athlete, National Geographic photographer, Academy Award-winning filmmaker and author. His expedition work spans all seven continents and combines high-altitude climbing, skiing and adventure with visual storytelling for magazines, books and global campaigns. With Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi, he co-directed films including Meru and Free Solo, the latter winning the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature. Chin lives in Jackson, Wyoming, and continues to work across still photography, directing and large-scale expedition projects.

David LaChapelle is an American photographer and filmmaker recognised for vividly coloured, carefully staged tableaux, portraits and still lifes. After moving to New York as a teenager, he exhibited at Gallery 303 and was hired by Andy Warhol to work for Interview Magazine. His visual language expanded editorial photography through imaginative sets, art-historical references and narrative spectacle. Across four decades, LaChapelle has also worked in music video, film and stage production, while exhibiting internationally in museums and galleries.

Joe McNally is an American assignment photographer, director, author and educator known for combining strong technical lighting skills with expressive visual storytelling. His career has taken him to more than 70 countries and includes five National Geographic cover stories, seven LIFE magazine covers and major editorial and commercial productions. McNally works across portraiture, corporate libraries, product launches, science, industry and healthcare, handling both intimate assignments and complex large-crew productions. He also teaches workshops and shares an extensive body of educational work.

Ami Vitale is a National Geographic Explorer at Large, award-winning photographer, writer and documentary filmmaker, and the founder of Vital Impacts. Across nearly three decades and work in more than 100 countries, she has documented the links between people, wildlife and the planet. Her long-form visual storytelling grew from conflict reporting into a solutions-focused practice centred on conservation, resilience and local leadership. Vitale uses photography and film to connect global audiences with communities working on the front lines of climate change and species loss.
